What is the CARE Program?

The CARE Program stands for Compassion, Action, Responsibility, and Education. It’s a comprehensive social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum designed to help children develop empathy, self-awareness, and positive social behavior through age-appropriate lessons and engaging classroom activities.

Who is the CARE Curriculum designed for?

The program is currently tailored for Kindergarten and First Grade students. It’s perfect for classroom teachers, school counselors, homeschooling parents, and administrators seeking a value-based SEL solution. Additional grade levels are in development.

What do the lessons include?

Each CARE lesson includes clear objectives, scripted prompts, discussion questions, and fun activities that encourage children to think, share, and grow. Lessons are designed to be low-prep and easy to integrate into your daily routine.

How long is each lesson?

Most lessons can be completed in 15–30 minutes, though they can easily be extended with enrichment activities, group discussions, or art and writing extensions.

Is the program aligned with educational standards?

Yes. The CARE Curriculum aligns with national and state SEL standards and character education goals. It’s also adaptable for both secular and faith-based classrooms.
